Curriculum and Leadership
Dr. Richard Rogers started teaching part-time with Columbus State University in spring of 2015. He has taught a variety of curriculum, leadership, and higher education courses. In addition, Dr. Rogers has been the content expert and methodologist on several dissertation committees at CSU. He has published five peer-reviewed qualitative book reviews and a chapter on curriculum ideology in a book titled Democracy and Decency: What Does Education Have To Do With It? Dr. Rogers is currently the Assistant Superintendent for School Operations for the Houston County School System. He has worked in various positions in K-12 education including teaching at the elementary and middle school level, assistant principal, principal, and director of personnel. Dr. Rogers' academic interests include leadership, education, curriculum theory, and qualitative research.
