Brief Bio: Richard (Ric) Long teaches courses in Counseling Skills, Marriage and Family Therapy Assessment, Marriage and Family Therapy Ethics, Sex and Gender, Community Counseling and Marriage Systems Theory and Therapy. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he supervises therapy at The Family Center, a community mental health center, and sees individuals, couples and families.
Ric earned his Ph.D. in Communication from Southern Illinois University. He holds a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University. He is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and an Approved Supervisor.
