Brief Bio: Dr. Walter Breaux, III is an Associate Professor of Counseling. He is a corporate trainer and mental health consultant specializing in intrapersonal dynamics, conflict transformation, and the socio-political development of cultural systems. Dr. Breaux completed his Ph.D. in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Human Services Counseling from the University of New Orleans. He received a MA in Mental Health Counseling and a BS in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Breaux was awarded the 2007 Dean's Award of Innovation for his acclaimed trainings with Muscogee County School System, The Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Columbus Regional Medical Center and many other institutions in and around the Greater Columbus area. Dr. Breaux is a licensed professional counselor and marriage & family therapist currently practicing at Behavioral Health Partners, Inc. in Columbus, GA.
